Payment Guidelines for Clients Outside the US

How clients outside of the United States can submit payment for Generis consulting services using Wise.com

Thank you for choosing Generis to serve your organization during an exciting time of growth and development. We are honored to be your partner and look forward to serving you with excellence.

To facilitate a seamless interface with our clients outside the United States, we have partnered with payment processor Wise.com to process all payments and currency exchanges. Wise.com is a fast, secure, and reliable payment processing platform for international transactions. You do not need to have a Wise.com account to pay us through Wise.com, but you may set up a free account (recommended) to facilitate payment processing if that is easier for you.

How we will request payment

  • About 20 days before your payment is due, we will send you an invoice. Unless we communicate with you otherwise during the contract process, for your convenience the invoice will be denominated in your local currency and you will be able to pay us in your local currency. 
  • This invoice will come from generis@generis.com or quickbooks@notification.intuit.com. Please be sure you have added these addresses to your address book to prevent message from going to your junk mail folder.

How to submit payment

  • Click on the Wise.com payment link in the invoice.
  • You will be redirected to the Wise.com payment interface. 
  • This Wise.com interface will present you with two payment options
    1. Payment using your Wise.com account
      This method uses your Wise.com account to make an instant transfer from your Wise.com balance or your connected bank account. This is free to you. This is the recommended method.
    2. Payment using bank transfer
      This method allows you to transfer funds directly from your local currency bank account into Generis’ Wise.com bank account denominated in your local currency. See Bank Transfers below for more information.

Bank Transfers

Customers in Canada

From the Wise.com payment link, you can access Generis’ Canadian Dollar account information. You can pay using EFT credits (also known as direct deposits). Your bank will be able to assist you with setting up these transfers.

You will not be able to pay using domestic wire or Online Bill Transfers. 

If you are paying from an account that is not denominated in Canadian Dollars, please reach out to the Generis finance team (generis@generis.com) to receive an alternative payment link.

Customers in Australia

From the Wise.com payment link, you can access Generis’ Australian Dollar account information. You can pay by local bank transfer. Your bank will be able to assist you with setting up these transfers.

You will not be able to pay using international wire or SWIFT.

If you are paying from an account that is not denominated in Australian Dollars, please reach out to the Generis finance team (generis@generis.com) to receive an alternative payment link.

Note that we cannot accept transfers from

- Transfers from Australian Superannuation Funds

- Self-Managed Superannuation Funds

Customers in the United Kingdom

From the Wise.com payment link, you can access Generis’ Pounds Sterling account information. You can pay by Faster Payments System (FPS), Bacs, or CHAPS. Your bank will be able to assist you with setting up these transfers.

You may also pay using SWIFT, but this may incur an extra fee from your bank.

If you are paying from an account that is not denominated in Pounds Sterling, please reach out to the Generis finance team (generis@generis.com) to receive an alternative payment link.

Customers in Other Countries

If your country is not listed above, we will do our best to set up payment arrangements in your local currency. Regardless, we will work with you during the contract process to ensure that we have a clear process for managing payments.
